Our latest Account Manager promotion

We’re delighted to share that we’ve recently promoted Erin Softley to the role of Account Manager. Erin, who will celebrate her first anniversary with us in March, takes on the responsibility for driving our Mental Health and First Aid Policies, as well as building the team’s awards portfolio.

Erin joined the team in 2023, having built a wealth of PR expertise across a variety of B2B clients in the technology, logistics and science sectors. Her background in scientific research made her a unique fit for the company.

With a keen eye for detail and experience in long-form content, Erin’s appointment was an opportunity for us to broaden our technical expertise. Erin is also a medic in the British Army Reserves, a role which equipped her well for taking a lead on some of the agency’s accounts.

She said: “The past year has been an exciting one for eden, with lots of new business onboarding and several internal promotions. We are certainly a team with lots to offer for our clients, the PR industry in the Midlands and the Nottingham business community.

“In my new role, I hope to devise further training on creative content, continue to strengthen and enhance our mental health in the workplace approach and, hopefully, help us enter more regional business, PR and trade awards for some of the fantastic campaigns we deliver on a daily basis.”

Alongside her medical qualifications with the Army, Erin is also a trained Mental Health Workplace First Responder (WFR) with St John’s Ambulance, alongside Director and Head of New Business, Emily Winsor-Russell. The pair have created a policy providing an overall direction for mental health as well as helping to promote the wellbeing of the team.

Emily said this: “Erin was a unique hire for us, with a diverse set of skills stemming from her experience working in a technical PR agency and her science background. She also has ambitions for the agency to see us enter and win more awards for our clients’ campaigns, many of which continue to have a noticeable impact on the wider community.

“In an industry where our job is to help our clients share their stories, we believe Erin’s contributions will continue to drive the creative campaigns for which eden is well-known”.
