Forfar Education, one of the UK’s leading independent prep school groups, were keen to raise the profile of their individual schools and the group through targeted regional media coverage. Competition for new families to join the schools was consistently high, and recruitment of high quality teachers and teaching staff was a key priority. All communication had to highlight the strong school values and showcase the legacy for excellence within each establishment. Forfar also required crisis communications PR across the high-profile schools within the group, to nurture the transparent and family-owned ethos throughout the group.
Eden worked alongside the Headteachers of each school to pinpoint strong regional stories which would appeal to the leading, best-read publications within each area. Eden formed strong media relationships that created two-way interest, propelling each school’s profile into the media. Eden initiated trends, newsjacking, thought-leadership and news releases to support the Headteachers, positioning them as the ‘go to’ educational spokespeople within their local area.
