We’re delighted to share that our Director and Head of New Business, Emily Winsor-Russell, has been shortlisted for the Young Leader Award at the East Midlands Leadership Awards 2024.  

The awards celebrate the leadership and achievements of local leaders and the impact they have on their organisations, industries and wider communities through various professional and personal contributions.

Emily, who joined us back in 2017, was nominated by the rest of the eden team for her achievements in increasing our turnover. As Head of New Business, Emily has successfully grown our client portfolio, resulting in the onboarding of 14 significant clients, while also implementing plans to expand and diversify our services and establishing our first ever Employee Wellbeing programme.

The latter, which includes regular scheduled 1-2-1 meetings with all team members, monthly staff socials and 6-monthly team ‘away days’, has led to the development of our Mental Health team. Under Emily’s direction, the team has produced a comprehensive Mental Health Policy comprised of trained Mental Health Workplace First Responders, regular surveys and check-ins, as well as Office First Aiders and wellbeing initiatives.

Under Emily’s leadership, we’ve been able to establish significant, strong relationships with clients across the UK – whether it be through PR, community-led initiatives, journalism or networking, with her dedication to fostering a positive working culture contributing to her nomination.

The awards ceremony will take place on March 14, 2024, at Nottingham’s Crowne Plaza Hotel.
